01Who we are
coalfox is an independent game and software studio. This policy covers the website coalfox.net and the Telegram bot @coalfox_bot. For any privacy question, write to info@coalfox.net.
02The website
The website is a static page. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, trackers or ads, and loads no content from other companies: fonts and all other files are served from our own server. Because of that, there is no cookie banner.
Like any web server, ours keeps standard access logs: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser user agent and response status. We use them only to keep the site secure and working, and they are automatically deleted after 14 days.
03The Telegram bot
When you write to @coalfox_bot, we store:
- your Telegram user ID, name and @username, as Telegram provides them;
- the topic you pick and the messages and files you send;
- when you first wrote and how many messages you sent.
Why: to pass your message to our team and send you our reply. Messages are delivered to a private Telegram chat that only the coalfox team can read.
Spam filtering: incoming text is checked automatically for typical spam signs (scam keywords, mass links, flooding). Messages that look like spam are held back for manual review instead of being forwarded. The filter makes no other decisions about you.
How long: we keep this data while we may need it to continue the conversation.
You can delete it at any time by sending /forget to the bot. This removes your
record from our database. Copies of messages already delivered to our team chat are deleted on
request: just email us. If an account was banned for abuse, we keep only its Telegram ID so
the ban stays in place.
Telegram itself processes your messages under its own privacy policy.
04Email
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and keep the conversation in our mailbox for as long as it is relevant.
05Crypto donations
Donations go directly to public blockchain addresses. We do not run a payment service and collect no personal data for donations. Keep in mind that blockchain transactions are public and permanent, so please do not put personal information in transaction notes.
06Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data and do not use it for advertising or profiling. We disclose data only if the law requires it.
07Legal basis
Where the GDPR applies: we process bot and email messages to respond to your request (Art. 6(1)(b)), and server logs and spam filtering based on our legitimate interest in keeping our services secure (Art. 6(1)(f)).
08Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to its processing. Write to info@coalfox.net, and we will answer within 30 days. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you may also contact your local data protection authority.
09Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date above.
